Name: Takakage Kurosaki Door: DOOR PASS / SUBMISSIVE Canon: Handead Anthem Canon Point: Post-Tempest, part 6 Age: 29 Appearance: Here History: Ko's ( exaltruistic ) player has a locked info post here; Takakage is also a part of the group deva Personality: EFFICIENT: In his last (highly stressful) job before becoming Handead, Takakage was incredibly efficient at his job. Even though a co-worker had sabotaged him and he was being sent back to Japan from the UK, Takakage worked well with others or even alone. This trait seemed to only grow stronger after becoming Handead at Ko Tenjin's bite; it was in the Fukuoka branch of DAA, deva, that Takakage had to work closely with Ko Tenjin, Atsuhide Eburi, and Shino Ondomachi. Atsuhide and Takakage cannot stand one another, but it's been said they still work well together with their deva and DAA duties. Coming equipped with graphs and charts and ideas to brainstorm off of, Takakage is an asset to his branch and indeed any team he's a part of. OBSESSIVE: Ko was the one to save Takakage from the brink of despair and disaster. His voice was beautiful and enough to drive Takakage to look for the source, crying as he went. To say the least, Takakage worships Ko. He even has a shrine he prays to every morning. He doesn't keep his fanatical obsession with Ko a secret, either, and as deva's Head is widely worshipped by others as well, Ko meets the prayers and fanaticism with grace. It just makes Takakage adore him even more. No one really tries to discourage or stop Takakage. It's just kind of his thing. That and screaming at people to 'die!' if they inconvenience Ko at all. HIGH-STANDARDS: As he's incredibly efficient, his standards set for himself and his branch are high. He'd like to consider himself Ko's right hand man, but that title goes to Atsuhide; still, he places high standards even on him. When Shino (only fifteen years old) spoke up in a meeting, Takakage was quick to bark at him for being incorrect. He also berated and wished death on Atsuhide openly for being 'one minute and twenty-three seconds late', therefore wasting that much of Ko's precious time. A lot of is high standards are related to Ko; he must have the best of everything, after all. However, he carries them for himself and others as well. After the revelations of truth in Tempest part 6, he has to be better. For Ko and for deva. OVERBEARING: As hinted at above, Takakage is a lot as a person. He can be bossy and rude and quick to snap, especially when it comes to his beloved God. He's curt and even brusque with others, such as with his childhood friend, Tengai, asking about his family and how they're doing, but Ko is such an important piece of his life and, as such, he's a little much at times. Suggesting once to enshrine Ko and parade him around Japan, he was met with a polite, "well... that's an idea" and nothing more. He's prone to his hand aching when Ko praises him, and his dead level will rise, therefore making his emotions volatile and putting him into a frenzy. Ko is everything; how can he possibly be too much for a God? It doesn't really occur to him. Powers and Abilities: Handead physiology: Takakage can bite someone and turn them Handead like him. He also has a dead point (his neck and right hand), increased sensitivity to physical sensations, and the potential for his dead level to rise. The dead level rising can be dangerous, because Handead will act on baser urges and go into the aforementioned frenzies. Inventory: N/A Samples: Here [ With dawn on the horizon, Takakage finds he can't sleep. He's pacing, having worked himself into a state of worry, of discomfort. What if this city is harming Ko? What can he even do about it? He told him not to worry, and so he pushed it from his mind; it seems, however, that all bets are off the table when they're apart from the world they knew and called home. He works a hand to his own throat, an attempt to release the invisible band that's wrapped around it. This is painful. This isn't right. Red creeps into the whites of his eyes and he's moving down the hall. Pace up, touch his door knob, pace back down. Back again, linger a little longer. Back once more. It's agonizing, that indecision, but the red takes over. He opens the door. ]
